Visual Art Submissions

The following guidelines will assist you with your submission of Visual Art:

  • We are seeking visual art submissions that inspire, surprise, bring forth a smile, cause us to be curious, to wonder, or to dream. We are interested in submissions from painters, sketch artists, spray paint artists, photographers, digital artists, comic artists, mixed media artists, sculptors, potters, artists who do installation art, those who craft with wood, or steel, or thread - if you make visual art, we want to see it.

  • Each submission contains one image suitable for digital printing.

  • Please submit a JPEG or PNG thumbnail format file at 640x480 resolution.

  • Please send two documents: a cover letter and your submission.

    • Your cover letter should include: name, contact information, Canadian city of residency, medium of visual art, and title of the submission. We encourage you to also submit a brief biography.

We do not provide feedback on your submissions. Those selected for publication will be notified one month following the close of that review period - see General Guidelines. At that time the editor will request a high-resolution JPEG or PNG format file with 3200x2400 resolution.

We only accept unpublished, original material. All work published online including websites, blogs, social media, etc. is considered to be previously published. If your submission has been simultaneously submitted, please inform us ASAP if it has been scheduled for publication elsewhere.
