Meagan Stockwell (she/her)

Creative Nonfiction Submissions Editor

Location: Thunder Bay, ON, the land of the Robinson-Superior Treaty.

Meagan has called Northern Ontario home for 18 years. Officially from Southern Ontario, she made her way to Thunder Bay and Lakehead University where she earned an HBa and MA in English. She works in the literacy and non-profit sector and has a wide interest in books and literature. She writes nonfiction in her own time, and her writing has appeared on Today’s Parent, CBC 180, and Janome Canada. When she’s not working you can find her sewing for her business, playing with her boys, watching a movie, or thinking about all the things she needs to write. Her current reading list includes a large volume of feminist nonfiction, while sprinkling in some delightful new fiction. You can find her on Instagram @madeby_meag, Facebook at Made by Meag and her blog: www.takingthelongway.ca

Meagan serves as the Creative Nonfiction Submissions Editor. She will review submissions, vet them for publication, and diversify our published content alongside a small team of volunteers.
